BAMS Admission Process in UP 2026-27: A Step-by-Step Guide


Step 1: NEET Examination:
To take admission in BAMS program the candidate should give the NEET Examination, the candidate can submit the application in the tentative period January-February, the exams are held in the month of May and the results are declared in the month of June.The minimum qualifying percentile for the general category is 50.

Step 2: UP AYUSH Counseling Registration:
There is a counseling session being held by UP AYUSH Counseling every year the portal activates in the month of July.The required documents for the registration are NEET scorecard, 10th and 12th mark sheets, Domicile certificate (for state quota), Category certificate (if applicable), Recent passport-sized photographs, Valid ID proof, Character certificate.

Step 3: Choice Filling and Seat Allotment:
Now a candidate have to submit the preference for the colleges and courses, the merit list published on the basis on NEET score and reservation policies.After getting the merit list multiple counseling rounds are to be held: First round (August 2026), Second round (September 2026), Mop-up round (if seats remain vacant)
