About Bihar NEET PG

The Bihar NEET PG Counselling is expected to commence soon. Students interested in participating can familiarize themselves with the counselling procedure. The Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) oversees the counselling process, which is based on the NEET PG results. 

Bihar PGMAC facilitates admissions into postgraduate medical programs such as MD, MS, and PG Diploma. The seat allocation will occur through three rounds of counselling, including a mop-up round. NEET PG-qualified candidates who are residents of Bihar are eligible to take part in the Bihar NEET PG Counselling.

Bihar NEET PG Medical Colleges

Currently, only four private medical colleges offer PG courses. However, two additional private colleges are expected to receive approval this year

Bihar NEET PG Counselling Eligibility Criteria

Students interested in participating in Bihar NEET PG Counselling are required to fulfill the following conditions, namely:-

GovernmentCandidate must have passed MBSB Exam from any medical college of Bihar which is established or financially aided by the state government for government seat.

Candidates who are permanent resident/ domicile of Bihar and have been admitted in MBBS Course before the bifurcation of Bihar i.e. 15.11.2000 in medical college situated in Jharkhand and have obtained the degree of MBBS are also eligible for nomination/ allotment of a seat for admission in academic session 2026.

Candidate of other state who have passed MBBS from state of Bihar will be considered under general category only.

Bihar NEET PG Counselling Process 2026

To participate in the Bihar NEET PG Counselling Process 2026, students must adhere to the following essential steps:

Step 1 - Registration

The primary step involved in Bihar NEET PG Counselling Process 2026 is to get registered on the official website of BCECEB website. Candidate interested in Bihar NEET PG Counselling shall fill the application form with the necessary details required. 

Step 2 – Verification of Documents

After registration, the next step is to upload scanned documents like NEET PG Admit Card & Scorecard, MBBS Degree/Provisional Certificate, Internship Completion Certificate, Identity Proof, Domicile Certificate & Category Certificate if applicable. The second step that is verification of document is done online, and should be done with due care.

Step 3 – Choice Filling & Locking

Post registration and verification of documents, candidate is required to select the preferred PG College of Bihar and the course. 

Step 4 – Seat Allotment

Seat Allotment is done on the basis of NEET PG rank, and category. Once choices are made, candidates must lock their preferences before the deadline.

Step 5 – Reporting to Allotted College

After seat allotment, candidates must download their Provisional Allotment Letter and report to the allotted college within the specified time. Candidates are required to complete the admission formalities by submitting original documents and paying the admission fees at the college.
