BMS College of Engineering offers a range of Aided and Unaided undergraduate programs across various engineering disciplines. Below is the detailed seat intake for each course:

UNAIDED SEATS    

Eligibility Criteria for B.Tech in BMSCE Bangalore

In order to secure direct admission in BMS College of Engineering, the necessary conditions to be fulfilled are:-

Eligibility Criteria for General Merit Candidates:

• Student must have passed 2nd PUC/12th standard or an equivalent examination.

• English must be one of the subjects.

• A minimum aggregate of 45% in Physics and Mathematics (compulsory) along with any one of the following as an optional subject: Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, Computer Science, or Electronics.

• Eligible for undergraduate B.E. programs.

Eligibility Criteria for SC/ST & OBC (Cat-I, 2A, 2B, 3A, 3B) Candidates:

• Must have passed 2nd PUC/12th standard or an equivalent examination.

• English must be one of the subjects.

• A minimum aggregate of 40% in Physics and Mathematics (compulsory) along with any one of the following as an optional subject: Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, Computer Science, or Electronics.

• Eligible for undergraduate B.E. programs.

Consideration of Optional Subject Marks:

• If the marks in Chemistry are lower than required for eligibility, the marks obtained in Biotechnology, Biology, Computer Science, or Electronics will be considered instead.

Entrance Examination Requirement

• Admission is based on scores from KEA (Karnataka Examination Authority) or COMED-K.

Eligibility for B.E under Management Quota

• Candidates must have Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects in their qualifying examination.

• Optional subjects: highest marks obtained in any of the subjects- chemistry/ biology/bio-tech./computer science/electronics are considered for engineering courses. (compulsory)

• Candidate is required to clear an entrance exam conducted by cet/comed-k/jee paper-i are must for engineering courses for admissions under management seats. The student must qualify in the entrance exam.

BMSCE Bangalore Direct Admission Process 2026

Step 1 - Application Submission: Eligible candidates must submit their application with academic details and entrance exam scores.

Step 2 - Seat Allotment: Based on the availability of seats and merit, students will be allotted a branch.

Step 3 - Payment of Fees: Once selected, students must pay the prescribed tuition fees for confirmation of admission.

Step 4 - Document Verification: Required documents such as 10th & 12th marksheets, entrance exam scorecards, ID proof, and passport-size photographs must be submitted.

Documents Required for B.Tech in BMSCE Bangalore

For admission to the B.Tech program under Management Quota, the necessary set of documents to be submitted are:-

1. For Comed-K Students - Seat Allotment Letter issued by Comed-K along with Fee receipt (04 Copies)

2. For Management Seats - Provisional seat allotment letter issued by Management along with fee receipt. (04 Copies)

3. SSLC / 10th Marks Card

4. II PUC / 12th Marks Card

5. Study Certificate from previous College/Institute & Caste Certificate in respect of students having score less that 45% in qualifying examination

6. Transfer Certificate

7. Migration Certificate shall be submitted by Non-Karnataka students and students who have passed their qualifying examination other than the PU Board.

8. Students allotted through COMED-K under Hyderabad Karnataka Quota, are required to submit the relevant original certificates. [ Annexure - “A’’ – Eligibility Certificate & Annexure - “B’’ – Residence Certificate.

9. CET/ COMED-K/ JEE Rank Card

10. Recent passport size photograph – (2)

Note - Students are required to scan all the above original documents along with Passport Size Photo and Signature individually in JPEG format only & size should be less than 2MB [ with 200 DPI resolution] and need to be submitted in the form of soft copy compulsorily in a pen drive.
