Eligibility Criteria for Direct Admission in KJSCE Mumbai

The necessary conditions required to fullfill in order to apply for Direct Admission in KJ Somaiya College of Engineering Mumbai are as follows:-

1. Residency Requirement:

•    Candidates must be residents of Maharashtra, including those belonging to the Gujarati Linguistic Minority (as per GR on Minority).

•    Minimum Marks: A minimum aggregate of 45% in the above subjects.

To be eligible, candidates must have passed HSC (Higher Secondary Certificate) or an equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, along with one additional subject from Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, or Technical Vocational subjects, securing a minimum of 45% aggregate marks in these subjects.

Admission is also subject to any additional criteria specified by Somaiya Vidyavihar University.

•    Gap Certificate/ Affidavit (if HSC passed before prior to Academic Year 2024-25).

•    Medical fitness certificate also indicating the blood group issued by registered medical practitioner.
