Himachal Pradesh NEET PG Eligibility Criteria
The necessary conditions to be fulfilled for candidates who wish to get admitted in Himachal Pradesh NEET PG are as follows:-
- Candidate must be an Indian National in order to participate in Himachal Pradesh NEET PG Counselling 2026
- Student be domicile of Himachal Pradesh to be able to opt for government medical college of Himachal Pradesh. However, non-domicile candidate can apply for private quota seat.
- Student must have completed MBBS from an institution of Himachal Pradesh.
- Student must have completed a 12-month rotatory internship by 15th August 2026.
- In order to participate in HP NEET PG 2026, candidate must be registered with MCC/ State Medical Council or BCI/State Dental Council
- Most importantly, student must be qualified for NEET PG and NEET MDS exam by minimum cutoff

The necessary steps to be followed for Himachal Pradesh NEET PG Counselling 2026 are as follows:-
Step 1 – Online Registration
The primary step to be followed in the Himachal Pradesh NEET PG Counselling Process 2026 is to visit the official website of AMRU and register for the counselling process.
Step 2 – Uploading of Documents
Post registration, the registration by providing personal details, NEET PG Roll Number, Rank and other necessary information. Also, submit the necessary documents mentioned below in the blog.
Step 3 – Choice Filling & Locking
After the documents are uploaded, candidates can proceed with the choice filling process of Himachal Pradesh NEET PG Counselling 2026.
Step 4 – Seat Allotment
The fourth step in the Himachal Pradesh NEET PG Counselling Process 2026 is the seat allotment process. AMRU is the conducting authority that is responsible for conducting the seat allotment process on the basis of the candidate’s NEET PG Rank, category and choices filled.
Step 5 – Reporting to Allotment of College
The last step is reporting to the allotted college within the specified timeline. While reporting to the college, student must carry the necessary documents required along with the seat allotment letter for verification of documents and admission formalities.
Students who are unsatisfied with the allotted seat then, student can opt for upgradation in the subsequent round of counselling.
