The table above shows expected NEET UG Score for Government Seat ranging from 2023, 2024,2025 and expected in 2026. It can be observed that number of applications increased from around 20.3 Lakhs in 2023 to 2024 Lakhs in 2024, slightly decreased in 2025 and is expected to be around 22 Lakhs in 2026-27 session.

If we talk about year-wise cutoff, the general (UR/EWS) category saw an increase in 2024, a slight drop in 2025, and is expected to rise again to 150–160 in 2026. For OBC, SC, and ST categories, the cutoff is comparatively lower and is expected to be around 120–125 marks, while for PwD candidates, it is expected to range between 120–135 depending on the category.

All in all, it indicates that NEET UG Exam remains consistently high, with cutoffs likely to increase again in 2026-27 session.

The table shows expected NEET UG Score 2026-27 for obtaining government medical college based on 2023 to 2025 session. In short, for General Category, the closing rank has increased over years and is expected to reach around 29,000 – 30,000 in 2026, with score approximately 620-625. For EWS Category, the trend is slightly higher in rank, expected around 32,000–33,000, with a score of 618–620 marks. The OBC category follows a similar pattern to General, with an expected closing rank of 29,000–30,000 and a score of 620–625 marks.

For reserved categories, the cutoff is comparatively lower. The SC category is expected to close around 1,39,000–1,41,000 rank with a score of 460–470 marks, while the ST category may close at around 1,67,000–1,70,000 rank with a score of 430–440 marks.

Above table proves that if you wish to secure MBBS Seat in Government Medical College in 2026, general and OBC category candidates will likely need 620+ marks, while reserved category may secure seat relatively at lower cost, reflecting category-wise competition differences.
