Eligibility Criteria for MBBS in Krishnanagar Medical College West Bengal

For securing a seat in MBBS Programme, the necessary conditions required to fulfill are:-

1. Qualification Requirement

• Candidates must have passed their 10+2 (or equivalent) examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English as core subjects.
• They should have obtained the required aggregate marks as per category.
• General category: Minimum 50th percentile in NEET.
• OBC/SC/ST category: Minimum 40th percentile in NEET.
• Physically Handicapped (General): Minimum 45th percentile in NEET.
• Physically Handicapped (OBC/SC/ST): Minimum 40th percentile in NEET.

2. Age Criteria

• The minimum age is 17 years as on 31st December of the year of admission.
• There is no upper age limit for NEET-UG and MBBS admissions.
• Date of birth proof must be provided through valid documents such as Mark Sheet, Admit Card, Birth Certificate, or Passport.

3. NEET Requirement

• Candidates must qualify NEET-UG with the required cut-off percentile as declared by the NTA.
• Only NEET-qualified candidates are eligible for counselling and admission.

4. Counseling & Admission

• Eligible students must register for the NEET-UG counselling process.
• Participation in counselling is mandatory to secure a seat in KIMS.
• Final admission is granted based on NEET score, counselling allotment, and document verification.
