The Directorate of Medical Education and Research (DMER) Tamil Nadu has extended the Tamil Nadu UG NEET Counselling Registration date till 12th July 2023, 5:00 pm. So, interested candidates can register for the Tamil Nadu UG NEET Counselling process at the official website – tnmedicalselection.net
On 7th July 2023, an official notification was released which stated: “It is informed that as many representations have been received from candidates it is proposed to extend the process for receipt of applications in MBBS/BDS courses for the academic year – 2023-24 session.”
Thus, for all medical aspirants, it is big news as they have got some more time to fill out the Tamil Nadu UG NEET Counseling 2023.

Tamil Nadu UG NEET Counselling Registration Process
Step 1: Visit the official website – tnmedicalselection.net
Step 2: Click on the link for online application of MBBS/BDS degree given on homepage.

Step 3: It is advised to read the prospectus first and then begin with filling the Tamil Nadu UG NEET Counselling Application Form.
Step 4: When filling the Tamil Nadu NEET Counselling Application form, remember to fill details correctly like name, email, address, mobile number etc.
Step 5: After getting registered, you can the login using the credentials allotted.
Step 6: Fill the Application form and upload the necessary documents as asked.
Step 7: Save and Submit the form by paying the fees accordingly.
Step 8: Download the Tamil Nadu UG NEET Counselling Application form and keep it safe for future reference.

A security deposit of Rs. 30,000 must be paid in order to be admitted under the government quota. While the payment of Rs. 100,000 is necessary for the management quota. If an applicant who has been given a seat in the second round or later rounds fails to enroll at the designated institution, the Security Deposit will be forfeited.
