It was established in 2019–2020 and operates as a constituent college of Sri Siddhartha Academy of Higher Education (SSAHE), a deemed-to-be university. Sri Siddhartha Medical College T Begur offers MBBS as well as MD MS Courses. For MBBS, the annual intake is 150 students while for MD MS programs offer multiple postgraduate seats in different specialties, subject to yearly NMC approval and counselling.

Eligibility Criteria for PG Admission
For securing PG Admission in 2026-27, the necessary conditions are as follows:-
- Student must have a MBBS degree from an institution/ university recognized by Medical Council of India.
- Student must have completed the compulsory rotating internship on or before 31st march of the admission year.
- Candidate holding foreign degree shall be registered practitioners in the country from where they have obtained the degree and must obtain a temporary registration certificate from MCI.
Admission to all seats, including Management and NRI quota, is strictly based on the NEET PG rank obtained.
