Raniganj Institute of Medical Science (RIMS) is a recently established medical college that is opened in the state of West Bengal. For students who wish to opt MBBS Admission in West Bengal, this is another option open for you to get into.

Student also mentioned that the best part of RIMS is the hostel. As, in RIMS Hostel every boy gets a single room from the beginning of his studies here  .i.e, from first year. Girls get dormitories in beginning but also a new girl's hostel is under construction too. The hostels are airy, soothing and clean too…. 

Another best part if the RIMS College Fest, Palash of 10 days is organised in the month of December. The fest is amazing and in the last days of fest an EDM, a Sufi Night was organized too. So overall it’s an enjoyable event.

RIMS cricket league: A cricket tournament is held every year between students of different batches. The tournament runs for about a month and is very finely organized with the live scores maintained on a website.

Quiz: A general science intracollege quiz was organized in the month of February. The quiz was amazingly organized and over 100 teams participated in it.

Library :- A two storey 24*7 open library is there in the campus and that sounds enough for a book geek.

RIMS is in the center of Ranchi so one will not get cutoff from city life.
Ranchi being the capital of Jharkhand provides many other options to enjoy too. There are many scenic places to enjoy around as well as to soothe your senses”.

RIMS West Bengal MBBS Admission Process

In order to participate in the West Bengal NEET UG Counselling, here are the necessary steps to be followed, namely-

Step 1 – Registration

All medical aspirants must first register on the official website, https://wbmcc.nic.in/, and complete the required payment. Once registered, students can log in to view the seating chart and make their choices.

Step 2 – West Bengal NEET UG Counselling Process

After creating a user ID and password, students must complete the West Bengal NEET Counselling form, print a copy, and pay the applicable fees. The authorities will release the details of available seats for each round of counseling. Additionally, a merit list will be published based on NEET scores and other eligibility criteria.

Step 3 – Upload Documents

To apply for West Bengal NEET, students will need to submit the following essential documents:
•    NEET Admit Card
•    Rank Card
•    12th Marksheet
•    Signatures of both the student and parents
•    Student's thumb impression

Step 4 – Download the Verification Slip

Once all the required documents are submitted and the payment is completed, medical students can download the verification slip and proceed with the choice-filling process.

Step 5 – Choice Filling & Locking

Students can begin selecting their preferences after the mock test results are released. This step is vital and requires careful consideration, as no new options can be added once the choices are submitted. However, rearranging or deleting selections is allowed.

Step 6 – Reporting

Post declaration of NEET UG Result, student is required to make the payment and report to the respective institute.
